What does a license include?

One license lets one person use ClipMap on up to two computers they own or control, on one of them at a time. It includes updates for 12 months from the purchase, and ClipMap keeps working after that. It works on Windows and macOS.

How do I register a computer?

Enter your license key in ClipMap. If the license has a free place, the computer is registered. You'll find your keys in your account at account.sparks.audio.

What does "one at a time" mean?

ClipMap runs on one of your two computers at a time. Start it on the other one and choose "Use it here instead": it moves there, and the first computer stops within seconds.

Both places are taken. How do I use a third computer?

ClipMap lists your two computers and offers to replace one. You can also remove a computer in your account, then enter your key on the new one.

Why do I have to wait after removing a computer?

After you remove a computer, the next removal on the same license is possible 14 days later. Registering a computer in a free place is always possible. If a computer breaks or you're in a bind, write to support@clipmapapp.com and we'll help.

My computer crashed while ClipMap was running. Is my license stuck there?

No. A computer that stops checking in, for example after a crash or a lost connection, is released after 5 minutes.

Can I have several licenses?

Yes. Each purchase adds a license to your account, each with its own key and its own two computers. A studio can give its licenses to different people. For several licenses at once, write to support@clipmapapp.com.

Can I try ClipMap first?

Yes. The trial is every ClipMap Pro feature for 14 days, one per person and per computer. Buying keeps the same key.

Does ClipMap work offline?

ClipMap checks its license online from time to time. After a successful check it works offline for a while; if it can't check again in time, it asks you to connect.

What happens after 12 months?

ClipMap keeps working. Your account shows each license’s "updates until" date.
